"Try with Me" is a song by American recording artist Nicole Scherzinger, taken from the European re-release of her debut studio album, Killer Love (2011). The song was released on October 30, 2011 in the United Kingdom. It was written by Soulshock, Sean Hurley, Olivia Nervo and Miriam Nervo, and it was produced by Soulshock and Sean Hurley. "Try with Me" received its premiere on UK radio station Capital FM.[1]

Chart performance

In the United Kingdom, the song debuted at number eighteen on the UK Singles Chart on the issue dated November 12, 2011.[2] It sold 21,315 copies in its first week.[3]

Music video

A music video to accompany the release of "Try with Me" was premiered on MSN on October 18, 2011. It was uploaded to YouTube on 20 October 2011 at a total length of four minutes and one second. The video was shot at Xilitla, San Luis, Mexico.[4]

Live performances

Scherzinger performed the song live for the first time on the eighth series of The X Factor on October 30, 2011, to coincide with the song's UK release.[5] She performed it again on This Morning on November 4, 2011.

She then performed the song at the prestigious 2011 Royal Variety Performance held in The Lowry, Manchester on Monday, December 5, 2011. Scherzinger also performed the title song of The Phantom of the Opera to commemorate it's 25th Anniversary. Her performances were aired on ITV1 on Wednesday, December 14.[6][7]
